Crystal Moselle’s new film Skate Kitchen premiered at London’s House of Vans, just behind Waterloo Station on 13 September.

The film is based on a real life, all-female skate group from New York and traces the life of the fictional character Camille, who goes from being a lonely suburban teenager to part of the fabric of New York City subculture.

Director Crystal Moselle was thrilled with the turnout and said that she was excited to share the film with the UK.

Skate Kitchen is released in the US on 10 August and in the UK on 28 September.
