London set for bank holiday heatwave-but is there enough space for it to be worthwhile?

Londoners will flock to the parks tomorrow as the city braces itself for perhaps the hottest May Bank Holiday ever.

The Met Office predicts that temperatures could rise to as high as 29°C on Monday, smashing the previous May Bank Holiday record of 23.6°C set back in 1999.

The occasion is sure to pit hard working Londoners against each other on their day off, as groups battle it out to gain a nice spot in the park.

But with a growing population and the continual construction of high-rise buildings in the capital, is there actually enough green space in London for everyone to have a relaxing time on the sunny weekend?
